Target Group of RCDSC
Children and women from the marginalized community are the target group of RCDSC. Lack of education, poor livelihood pattern, a sense of strong demarcation line that segregates lower cast people from the privileges of society and state are our major concerns. Protection of their right and enhanced livelihood status are our focus area on behalf of these discriminated community especially, of Terai region of Nepal.

A case where women are empowered in Simardahi VDC of Mahottari district. Intensive social mobiliization, women group formation for saving and credit, income generation initiatives and training were of substantial support to empower them.

RCDSC Community Group Member at rescue
RCDSC has formed 2 clusters in the affected VDC and sub committees for rescue, food and shelter management, medicine support and assessment of the situation. One of the members of rescue committee is supporting to rescue flood affected community.
